The staff were very happy and helpful, a secure car park free to residents was provided.
Situated in a noisy street. Lots of noise and door banging during the night.
The Staff were friendly and the restaurant for evening meals excellent, great location for train travellers.
Only stayed for one night but the breakfast was fantastic really nice food. The room was comfy would definately go again.
This is the second time i have stayed here however this time the room was not very clean( i found a pair of dirty socke from the previous person and the pillow smelt of smoke).
The hotel was clean, the staff provided prompt and efficient service and the hotel restaurant served a very good breakfast menu.
The smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel corridors. It would perhaps be better if all smoking rooms were confined to one floor rather than spread across several.
Staff from reception was ever so kind and helpful. It was very clean and very conveniently located near Lime Street Station. Also, there was a great variety of breakfast.
Quiet, very comfortable, lovely hotel and excellent service.
The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the room very clean.
The beds were very uncomfortable- could feel the springs in the mattress, and a spring had actually come through the mattress cover at the foot end of the bed.
The room was dirty they was splashes of drink up the walls the mirror on the dressing table when lifted was disgusting, there was a long black hair on the lamp shade i'm blonde and my husband has no hair. We came back to the hotel 12 of us residents Sunday night and the young lad opened the bar for us but only offered us 2 bottles of wine and 4 bottle of becks lager he went to get them and didn;t return and left us sitting in a bar with no refreshements.
The location. Free parking. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
No air conditioning; opening the window resulted in lots of noise from outside, including the station and the bottle bins. The bed linen and pillows were old and tatty; the pillow inserts were stained, as was one of the sheets. The bathroom towels were clean, but tatty and there was only one of each towel in a twin room. The anti-slip shower mat was old and perished and had the previous guest's pubic hairs on it, which was disgusting.
great value for money, very clean and modern and the fact it has a bar, restaurant and outside eating area is a bonus.
The fact that they use swipe machine and my bank card does not accept them which resulted in me having to go back into the train station to draw the cash out. Should cater for ALL card types! Also should be told whether your room backs onto Lime St Station as mine did and was very noisy!
Position of hotel was great, reception staff good, free parking also good,
bar man in casterway bar in afternoon 15th july needs some manners and customer service training, such a arragant young man, bed linen in room was not clean, had to ring reception to have pillows etc changed for clean ones, also bath in room 611 had glue or sick right down the side of it which hadnt been cleaned ;-( dissapointed with these three things otherwise a good hotel
The staff were polite and helpful, everwhere wae clean and well kept, and it proved to be excellent value for the money paid.
Smart- clean-easy access to station/hospital- good easy relaxed breakfast.
Noisy rear room- disgustingly old worn out uncomfortable bed with rubbish pillows/duvet and torn bottom sheet-drunks rolling in at 2.30am and one banging on our door at 4.30am..........just what you don't want when recovering from eye surgery. Admittedly we didn't get the drunks on our first vist but the beds were the same in a different room.
Good free car park, v/close to city centre, and atractions right next to lime st station
Slight hill up to hotel on way back from city centre
